The Managed API serves stable operations at
https://runstamp.com/api/v2. New accounts get a 30-day trial of 100 successful output files,
with no card. A run that returns several files counts once per file. Then Platform or Enterprise continues.
1. Create an API key
Create an account, open Setup → API keys in the console and create an environment-bound key. During the trial it runs in your default Production environment. Later it belongs to your Platform or Enterprise workspace.
2. Run an operation with the SDK
import { managed, Runstamp } from "@runstamp/sdk";
const runstamp = new Runstamp({
transport: managed({ apiKey: process.env.RUNSTAMP_API_KEY! }),
});
const result = await runstamp.run("pdf.validate", pdfBytes);
if (!result.ok) throw new Error(result.error.remediation);Transport choice is explicit. The operation name, input schema, result envelope, errors and losses match local execution.
3. Or call REST directly
curl -X POST https://runstamp.com/api/v2/operations/pdf/validate \
-H "Authorization: Bearer pj_live_YOUR_KEY" \
-H "Idempotency-Key: YOUR_UNIQUE_REQUEST_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"input":"BASE64_PDF_BYTES"}'The API returns HTTP 202 with status_url and result_url. Poll the status URL,
then read the result URL. A large result returns an HTTP 307 redirect to the immutable result.
