PDF-forms operations in @runstamp/sdk work on exact, tenant-bound PDF bytes.
Forms stay interactive during fill. Flattening is explicit and reports losses.
@runstamp/forms is internal and not published on npm.
Install
npm install @runstamp/sdkThe SDK needs Node.js >=18.14.1. @runstamp/forms is a private binding and is not published on npm.
Core API (workspace-only)
These private helpers are for Runstamp workspace development. They are not public SDK exports. SDK users call the stable operations through runstamp.operations.run(operation, input).
inspectFormandmapForm: inspect fields and build a stable form map.extractForm: extract current field values.fillForm: apply bounded field mutations while preserving interactivity.flattenForm: flatten current appearances and reportFORM_INTERACTIVITY_REMOVED.validateFormandverifyForm: reopen exact source and output bytes and verify the requested operation.
Stable operations
The seven catalog operations cover field extraction, form inspection, form mapping, filling, flattening, and validation.
Mutation is rejected for signed, encrypted, XFA, active-action, malformed or ambiguously named forms. JavaScript and calculations never run.
