1. Scope and seller
Paddle is merchant of record for Pro and Platform self-serve purchases and handles checkout, payment, tax, invoices, fraud, chargebacks, and approved refunds under its Buyer Terms and Refund Policy. The checkout identifies the Paddle seller. Enterprise orders are governed by their signed commercial terms.
2. Trials, renewal, and cancellation
A trial lasts for the period/scope shown at enrollment. If payment details are required, checkout states when charging begins. Self-serve subscriptions renew automatically for the same term at the disclosed price unless canceled before renewal.
Cancel through the Runstamp account, Paddle buyer portal, or hello@runstamp.com. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid period and stops future renewal; it does not automatically refund that period. Deleting a hosted account is separate, so cancel first. Expiry of a commercial entitlement ends continued use of the Commercial Component as stated in the License Policy, while valid open-source rights and previously generated outputs remain.
3. Refund review
Fees are generally non-refundable after a paid period begins, including renewals, unused time, downgrades, consumed usage, and partial periods. We or Paddle may approve refunds for duplicate/incorrect charges, failed paid activation, or a documented material service failure we cannot reasonably cure.
An initial self-serve purchase may be submitted for discretionary buyer-protection review within 14 days. Approval is not automatic. Paddle's mandatory buyer rights apply where legally required, including any nonwaivable Canadian cancellation right that applies. This Policy does not limit statutory rights.
If we materially remove a core paid hosted feature during a prepaid term without a reasonable substitute, you may cancel the affected service and request a prorated refund for unused time. Changes to open-source, beta, preview, deprecated, private, or quarantined components do not qualify unless an Order Form says otherwise.
4. Requests and disputes
Email hello@runstamp.com with account/organization email, Paddle transaction or invoice reference, date, amount, affected entitlement, and reason. Do not send full card or bank credentials. Contact us or Paddle before a chargeback; access may be suspended while a payment dispute is investigated.
